Central Lincolnshire covers the combined areas of the City of Lincoln, North Kesteven and West Lindsey, totalling an area of 2116sq.km, with a population of 290,500 (Census 2011).

Adopted Central Lincolnshire Local Plan

At the Central Lincolnshire Joint Strategic Planning Committee (CLJSPC) meeting on 24 April 2017, the Central Lincolnshire Local Plan was formally adopted and now forms part of the Development Plan for the Central Lincolnshire authorities replacing the Local Plans of the City of Lincoln, West Lindsey, and North Kesteven District Councils.

The Central Lincolnshire Local Plan includes policies for the growth and regeneration of Central Lincolnshire up to 2036.
